Samantha McKenna of #samsales Consulting recently posted on LinkedIn about some feedback that she got early in her career, and we couldn’t agree more with her perspective.


Samantha about some feedback that she got early in her career, essentially how being too enthusiastic, positive, and light-hearted made her come across as ‘junior’ and ‘not serious enough to work with’.

BOO to that!

“Heads up that you can be your wholly authentic self while still being buttoned-up and world-class in whatever you choose to do. My money is on you being successful beyond your wildest dreams by being exactly who you are rather than any shadowed version of yourself.”

Don’t be ashamed of it.

Use it to your advantage.

Remember that a HUGE part of your job as an SE/SC/SA is to build relationships with your buyers.

People buy from people.

So… be a person.

Be yourself.
